Healing Won't Come Until We Address the Lies

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? John 3:12

Healing won’t come until we address the lies.

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love (2 Peter 1:5-7).

The apostle does instruct the saints to add truth to their faith because truth should be the very foundation of it. It is imperative to expose the lie because exposing the lie exposes the father of lies (John 8:44). Adam and Eve believed a lie from the adversary which changed their perspective of the Father causing seeds of fear and selfishness to take root.

And he said, Who told you that you were naked? Genesis 3:11

Who told us to abandon the biblical Sabbath established in Genesis (Mark 2:27)? Who told us we could eat whatever we wanted without consequence (Leviticus 11)? Who told us to forsake the established festivals of the Most High (Leviticus 23)? Who told us that Jesus changed His Father’s message (John 10:30)? Who told us the law was void (Matthew 5:17-18)?

We are to keep ourselves far from false matters (Exodus 23:7). The law is spiritual (Romans 7:14), but we are missing the Great Teacher’s message because we lack knowledge (Hosea 4:6) and honor tradition over truth (Matthew 15:3).

If the Father has called you to be shepherd, you have a heavenly obligation to speak the truth. In studying the Hebrew, we learn that the only way to love our neighbor is to shepherd them. We must take delight in the sheep assigned to us as good stewards of the gospel. We must also be on the lookout for danger. A shepherd is a friend who feeds sustenance to the flock. We must be serving the living bread in sincerity and truth (Jeremiah 23:4 & Joshua 24:14).

My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go stray…(Jeremiah 50:6).

If Christ has drawn you to himself and saved you, you have a heavenly obligation to live the truth. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips (Proverbs 8:7). We cannot be a people who refuse to answer when He calls (Isaiah 66:4). We are the work of His hand; He is the potter, and we are the clay (Isaiah 64:8). We are useless, empty vessels without Him. Who told us we could fill ourselves with vanity and expect to be used righteously?

We must address the lie. When we see with our eyes, and hear with our ears, understanding will come, and healing will take place (Isaiah 6:10). We have to have conversations about what we’ve been taught. We have to analyze these doctrines, and what fails to line of with scripture must go. If the Father is seeking those who worship in spirit and truth, then that’s what we give Him: His truth, His worship, His way on His timeline. Nothing else matters, and nothing else will do.

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor (John 12:26).

Let’s get to work family.

Shalom,
