The Truth Remains True

If the Psalms are still valid and the Proverbs still carry an abundance of wisdom, then the instructions of YAH (God) are still worthy of our attention. The instructions of the Creator and Sovereign One show us how to walk as redeemed people of YAH. It is the tutor to get us to the schoolmaster-Yahshua (Jesus), whose mind and deeds were focused on the Kingdom of YAH. We are to walk as He walked; our message is to be the same is His. “Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” are the red-letters words of our Messiah along with “Follow Me, and I will make your fishers of men” (Matthew 4: 17, 19 NKJV).

What is Jesus calling us to return to? He’s calling us to return to the way of YAH (God) that Abraham was devoted to (Genesis 18:17-20). What is Jesus calling us to follow? He’s calling us to follow Him in all fullness and completeness. He calling us to crucify the desires of the flesh and the haughtiness and pride of our own thinking. How do we do this? By obeying the Word established in the beginning. We accomplish this by removing theological and doctrinal glasses that compromise the word of truth that has been freely given to us. We accomplish this by staying connected to the vine (John 15) and acknowledging that our goodness is nothing apart from Him (Psalm 16:2). True worship of King Yahshua (Jesus) should point us to the Father & Source of all.

He who shows us the path of life is our life.

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may life: that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for His is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NKJV

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:6 NKJV

Shalom.
